Museum Passes

In addition, Clifton cardholders visiting Liberty Science Center can show their Clifton Library card to receive $3.00 off the admission rate. Each person in your group must present their own card to receive a discount.

It is your responsibility to check with the museum to confirm hours, and to make a reservation if necessary, and to understand their current restrictions.

  • Any adult Clifton cardholder in good standing can check out a museum pass. Passes are checked out at the circulation desks of the Main Library and Allwood Branch.
  • Passes are available on a first come, first served basis (no holds or reserves). See what is available, and check out your pass for up to 3 days. Limit one pass per library card. Passes cannot be renewed.
  • After enjoying your museum visit, passes should be returned to the circulation desk and not in the book drop.
  • Patrons are responsible for replacement charges for any lost or stolen passes. Fines for overdue passes are $10 per day, to a maximum of $50.
  • Each museum pass has its own restrictions and conditions. Please stop in the Library to obtain a brochure detailing museum conditions and library rules.

American Museum of Natural History

The Clifton Library offers vouchers for the American Museum of Natural History. A limited number of vouchers are available for the year.

Every Monday morning, two (2) vouchers will be made available at the Main Library, and two (2) at the Allwood Branch for the week.

Vouchers are first-come, first-serve. One (1) voucher can be obtained per Clifton Library adult cardholder once every 6 months (while supplies last).

Each voucher is good for one general admission + one exhibit or show. AMHN requires that reservations be made online ahead of a visit: amnh.org/plan-your-visit.

Pass admits 2 adults and 2 kids under 18 years to Intrepid Museum, Space Shuttle Pavilion & Growler Submarine. Use the membership express line at the Box Office located in the Welcome Center and show the pass and your Clifton library card so a team member can print your general admission ticket.
